Repair & Correction

Fixing installation problems at the flooring and surface level. Section replacement, substrate prep, transition repair, and floor protection across the Greater Denver Metro.

Installation Problems
Corrected Properly.

Most floor failures trace back to the installation or the surface beneath it. We work at the flooring and surface preparation level — correcting what went wrong and reinstalling correctly.

NOT IN OUR SCOPE

  • —Structural subfloor replacement or framing repair
  • —Plywood replacement or major carpentry
  • —Foundation or structural leveling
  • —Waterproofing system installation

Failed Installation Correction

Planks buckling, lifting, or separating? We assess the root cause — whether it is improper acclimation, wrong adhesive, poor layout, or an unlevel surface — and correct it at the installation level.

Section Replacement

Water damage, impact damage, or isolated failed sections. We remove and replace affected planks or tiles and blend them to the existing floor as closely as the material allows.

Transition & Threshold Repair

Loose, crooked, or missing transitions between rooms or floor materials. We replace or reinstall them cleanly, flush, and matched to the existing installation.

Subfloor Surface Preparation

We address surface-level subfloor issues: grinding high spots, filling low spots, removing old adhesive, and cleaning drywall residue. Proper surface prep is what makes installations last.

Adhesive & Residue Removal

Old adhesive, drywall compound, and construction residue left on subfloors cause flooring to fail. We prepare the surface correctly before any new material goes down.

Floor Protection Installation

Finished floors on active construction sites need protection. We cover installed flooring with kraft paper and blue tape so other trades can work without damaging the floor.

Diagnose First. Fix Correctly.

01

Assessment

We look at the full situation — material, installation method, subfloor condition, and the specific failure. We do not quote repairs before we understand the cause.

02

Root Cause

Most floor failures have a specific cause. Improper acclimation, unlevel substrate, wrong adhesive, bad fastening, or skipped prep. We find it before we touch anything.

03

Surface Correction

We address the substrate at the surface level — grinding, filling, cleaning, leveling compound where needed. We do not perform structural or framing work.

04

Clean Reinstallation

We reinstall the flooring correctly. Transitions flush. Planks tight. Seams consistent. We do not leave until the finished result looks right.

The Surface Is
Half the Job.

Surface Inspection
We check flatness, moisture, and the condition of the existing substrate before any material goes down.
Grinding & Filling
We address high spots and low spots at the surface level using grinding and appropriate fill compounds.
Adhesive & Residue Removal
Old adhesive, drywall compound, and construction residue are cleaned from the surface before installation.
Drywall Dust & Compound
Fine residue left by drywall work causes adhesion failures. We clean the surface to installation-ready condition.
Floor Protection
After installation on active job sites, we protect the finished floor with kraft paper and blue tape so other trades can work without causing damage.
